Jaipur, popularly known as the “Choti Kashi” of Rajasthan, is home to several ancient and spiritually significant temples. Among these sacred places is the historic Jagdish Maharaj Temple located in Goner, around 10 kilometers from Jaipur. Known as the “Vrindavan of Rajasthan,” this nearly 500-year-old temple is famous for its magnificent architecture, miraculous beliefs, unique traditions, and deep-rooted devotion among devotees.

The temple attracts thousands of devotees due to its self-manifested idol of Lord Jagdish and its beautifully designed dome made from lakhs of glass pieces. One of the most unique traditions associated with the temple is the offering of Malpua Prasad, which has given Goner Dham recognition across the country. Devotees believe that prayers offered here fulfill wishes and bring spiritual peace.

Every Ekadashi, a huge crowd of devotees gathers at the temple, while the Jaljhoolni Ekadashi celebrations and the divine boat procession become a major attraction for pilgrims.
