🛒 Ingredients (Serves 5–6):
• 5 hoagie rolls (split lengthwise)
• 2 eggs
• 1 cup half & half
• 2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1/4 cup sugar (used for cinnamon-sugar coating)
• 1/3 Ground cinnamon (mixed with sugar to taste)
• 1/2 stick of butter (for frying in batches)
• Powdered sugar (for garnish)
• Optional: Caramel sauce for dipping

1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, vanilla extract, and 1 cup of half & half until smooth.
2. Slice hoagie rolls and dip each piece into the egg mixture, fully coating both sides.
3. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon (adjust cinnamon to your taste).
4. Heat a skillet with a bit of butter, then fry each slice until golden and crisp — adding butter between batches.
