US Supreme Court Invalidates Trump's Tariff Move: Will Trump Refund the $130 Billion?

In a surprising turn of events, the US Supreme Court has deemed Trump's tariff policy as unlawful. In a 6–3 ruling, the Court said Trump was not authorised under the International Economic Emergency Powers Act of 1977 to impose those tariffs. The decision removes nearly 75% of the tariffs introduced since the “Liberation Day” announcement last April. Around $130 billion collected by the US government may now have to be refunded.
