Assessment of Steinway model Z 115cm upright piano 1969 vs Welmar and Knight

Steinway model Z upright pianos are not very uncommon in the UK; perhaps one for every 50 Welmar or knight uprights, which are our main preferred makes of high quality small pianos.

There are also at least 50 taller Steinway model K and V uprights (mostly from about 1890 to 1930) for every 1 model Z in the UK.
