Also discussed in the speech were Nixon, the killing of students at Southern University in Baton Rouge, George Wallace, George McGovern, Fred Hampton, deportation, Black, Brown and White unity, Attica, welfare, Rochelle McGee, Ricardo Chavez Ortiz, San Quentin 6, Fleeta Drumgo, George Jackson, Gary Lawton, Los Tres, Emily Butler, Vietnam War, and Billy Dean Smith. A Q&A session followed the speech.
