This video is not arguing that the politicisation of immigration is unfounded and/or not relevant to the success of populist parties. It is to say that the specific political happenings of each nation *within* parties (supply side factors) are equally, if not more, important and are wholly neglected in much political commentary. This video encourages a greater understanding of intra-national politics and how these contribute (and have contributed) to the rise of populism, with the recent Italian and Hungarian elections being used as examples.
