Zetouni ould Dada explains why climate change is a risk to food security? interview by Daleen Hassan

Dr. Ould-Dada is currently Deputy Director in the #climate and #environment Division at the #Food and #Agriculture Organization #FAO in Rome, i had teh chance to interview him at UN COP TV during cop27 in Egypt and my main question was , More than 811 million people are going hungry in the same world where up to two #billion people are #overweight
We obviously have an agri-food issue but, how do we solve such a problem? and How can we get the best of Africa with all of its food potential?

Before joining FAO, Dr. Ould-Dada worked as Head of Technology Unit at UNEP in Paris for 5 years. Prior to that, he worked for the British Government for 15 years holding several senior positions at Department of Energy and Climate Change; Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; Food Standards Agency; Environment Agency; and Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food. He also worked for the French government on international climate change during France Presidency of the European Union in 2008.
His 22 years international work experience covers a wide range of fields including environmental policy; climate change; energy policy; technology and innovation; agriculture and food security; radiation protection; and the 2030 Agenda for sustainable development.
