I BURNT UP our SOLAR - QFN Reflow in a Van Down by the River - Manly Man Skills

Manly Man Skill #1 - Reflow Soldering a 48 QFN IC, with minimal equipment, on the side of the road. After blowing up our solar charge controller by forgetting to disconnect the Solar Array before powering down, I attempt and succeed at replacing a 48 TQFN IC which would normally require a reflow station and Binocular Microscopes.

While it's unlikely that you will have to repair exactly this device, It's a good skill to have or at least understand. SMD electronics are everywhere and while there are parts that are 100% impossible for a homegamer (BGA) many are super easy to replace.

Somewhat off topic for the channel, (and long-winded) but so many people have guessed what my job was, and how I got the various skills used to build this rig - So I thought I'd toss in another one to keep ya' guessing... (And this isn't it either)
