Ben McLemore 28 Points/8 Threes Full Highlights (12/5/2019)

Just for fun, here's a list of players that were on the court for the Kings while Ben McLemore scored his career-high 31 (his only game that had more points than the one he had tonight) on April 16th, 2014:

-Derrick Williams (somehow out of the league)
-Jason Thompson (still can be a 20 and 10 guy given the right situation, you will never convince me otherwise)
-Isaiah Thomas (still in the league, nice)
-Rudy Gay (still in the league, nice)
-Ray McCallum (used to think he was better than C.J. McCollum, LMAO, but for real he probably was better at this point)
-Aaron Gray (which team is he an assitant coach for these days?)
-Quincy Acy (still in the league as of last year, nice)
-Travis Outlaw (no comment)
-Jared Cunningham (he really sucked for the Bucks, and apparently the Kings too)

Honestly, I was expecting some weirder names on that list, but I guess 2014 wasn't really that long ago. P.J. Tucker was on the opposing team, the Suns, which is fun. So was Shavlik Randolph.

It is at this point that I would retroactively like to apologize for not making a video for McLemore's performance. Why the heck wouldn't I have? There was likely a reason (probably the reason was that it was the last day of the season, so there were tons of possible videos, but I didn't have any time and had to be choosy, and I figured that a million other people would get to it so I could save my energy for important vids like Carrick Felix scoring 10 and Cole Aldrich's career-high 13), but there should be no excuse. It was Ben McLemore! Scoring 31! The fact that there is no VHS tape in my Archivium for such a performance will forever cause me pain.

You'll have to settle for this one, which features the same amount of buckets but way more threes and way fewer free-throws. McLemore was the beneficiary of James Harden getting doubled seemingly every time he touched the ball, and he made the Raptors pay by hitting tons of threes. Looking at their roster, is he turning into their best three-point shooter? Well, no. But at least he's better than Russell Westbrook, and his redemption tour continues on. Now I just need to wait for him to score more than 31 so I can undo the wrongs of my past.
