Kashi Mandir survey to be done by ASI, but why Owaisi calls it Hindutva Fraud? | The Newshour Debate

On The Newshour Debate, Navika Kumar discusses the latest developments that have now come to light as far as the Kashi Vishwanath temple is concerned. A plea was filed in the Varanasi court, citing land grab by the Mughal in order to build the Gyanvapi Mosque, which is adjacent to the Kashi Mandir. The court has accepted the plea and has ordered the ASI to visit the site and conduct a survey. While this certainly gives a boost to the Hindu devotees, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Waqf lawyers seem to be unhappy with the verdict. Owaisi has slammed the decision of the Varanasi High Court and has warned the people of the Hindutva lies and the lies that will be perpetuated by the ASI.

AIMIM Spokesperson Waris Pathan states that the judgment delivered by the Varanasi Court is erroneous and it needs to be corrected.
