Historic Preservation Highlight: Elementary School to Affordable Seniors Housing Conversion Project
BWE Senior Vice President Tony Love was on-site of the Longfellow Elementary School in Cleveland, OH to discuss the financing and historic preservation project that is converting the vacant Cleveland Metropolitan School District building into affordable seniors housing.
Tony describes the complex financing structure put together for the Connecticut-based Vesta Corporation, including one of the country's first implementations of the HUD-sponsored Section 202 Supportive Housing for the Elderly grant program in conjunction with the various other capital sources.
