Tesla Gigafactory Texas 27 April 2022 Cyber Truck & Model Y Factory Construction Update (07:25AM)

Gigafactory Texas on 27 April 2022! This is where the Cyber Truck and Model Y will be built!

Beautiful sunrise between cloud layers and a great morning to fly! So much to see, from Model Y transport markings, new east side main entrance area, north end steel platforms and HVAC installation on the roof and battery cathode foundation area impressive progress too!

Here are the highlights from today's video:
- On the south end, we look at the new material staging and container area just south of the main pond and then get a close view of on-going horizontal drilling operations going under the Colorado river.
- Also on the south end, we see newly painted car transport carrier and staging areas on the east half of the concrete parking area, suggesting we will see an increase in production and transport of new cars very soon! The inventory of Model Y’s is ever changing already, as many have already left the site while newly completed Model Y’s exit from the south end of the building.
- The east side concrete road appears completed now, and the south end temporary loading platform has doubled in size and has an active crane at work hoisting equipment up to the second floor. Also, in the mid-section of the east Body-in-White structures, we see a second main entrance area under construction which will aid with employee entry from the main parking lot. Angled concrete wall panels located in the west temporary stating area are ready to finish off this new area.
- On the north end if the main building, we see a lot of work assembling the second steel loading platform and what appears to be a roll-up door that has recently been delivered. Other deliveries are arranged around this area as well. The loading platform to the 4th floor of the battery cell structure has still not been assembled, yet the mounting points for the steel columns are ready in the concrete apron area.
- The east material storage and stating area has noticeably fewer steel parts and we see forklifts and yard trucks moving more of the steel parts to the battery cathode foundation location. We also get a high-altitude view of this entire area before getting close looks at “Cyber Planter” construction and contractor trailer areas.
- The battery cathode area is showing some impressive progress, including a very large stockpile of steel parts (relocated from the east staging area) and GeoPier work with four drills and two impactors at work this morning. At the rate they are going right now, I would expect to see footing excavation, rebar and concrete construction beginning in the next few weeks.
