I Make Stuff - Restore My Grandfathers Hand Plane

This month, I wanted to share how I restored my grandfather's old hand plane. I used electrolysis to remove the rust. Baking Soda, water, and an old 12 Volt power supply...that's all you need. If you attempt electrolysis BE VERY CARFULL!!! After the rust clean up, I applied some fresh paint and gave the blade a clean sharp edge. Good as new!
