Changing oil in the Chevy Volt and resetting the oil indicator

Hello everyone! Welcome to @AutoScholarwithMrB ! Today we will be doing an oil change on this 2011 Chevrolet Volt. The same process is used on the Holden Volt and Ampera.

This is a fairly easy oil change that takes less than a half hour to do. Chevrolet recommends oil changes every 2 years on this car. The vehicle has an indicator on the dash that will tell you when it is time. This engine is sensitive to oil types so be sure to use an oil that is correct for the specification.
