Bahrain F1 2026 pre-season test Day 2 is done – and this time it’s Ferrari and Charles Leclerc who send the strongest message.

Leclerc tops the timing screens with a 1:34.273 on soft tyres and backs it up with 139 laps, while world champion Lando Norris turns himself into a mileage monster with 149 laps for McLaren and P2 on the board.

Behind them, Oliver Bearman quietly impresses for Haas in P3, Mercedes survive a power unit scare with Andrea Kimi Antonelli before George Russell drags the W17 up to P4, and Red Bull’s Isack Hadjar recovers from a hydraulic leak to finish P5 after completing 87 laps.

Alpine trigger yet another red flag with Pierre Gasly stopping at Turn 1, while Racing Bulls, Williams, Aston Martin, Audi and Cadillac all focus on mileage and systems checks in the midfield.
