Kurai - Eddie Akhmetchine

Initially, I wrote this composition with an ethnic flute in mind. The Kurai flute is from Tatarstan, Russia and is a simple instrument with limitations in range. Creating a beautiful melody from this humble instrument was my goal. On my first album, Look Within, this piece is played on the Kurai, here I revisit it on the saxophone. I hope you enjoy it.
