The theme “Mirror, Mirror” is fully represented with a diverse palette of sobriety and sophistication. From a vibrant palette to the subtlest hues, Haute Couture elevates silhouettes much like cosmetics accentuate facial traits. The personal touch of a treatment, the distinctiveness of a complexion, the softness of a powder, the shimmer of an eyelid, the intensity of a look. Alexis Mabille’s brushstroke is both sober and sophisticated, crafted for women who recognize that true beauty is an expression of self-love. Stepping away from his signature bright jewel tones, Mabille embraced a palette of ivory, ballet pink, beige, and brown, adding touches of black and red. The collection opened with a series of architectural gowns. Asymmetrical necklines, puff sleeves, and delicate lace incrustations added a touch of romance. Mabille emblazoned some of the looks with playful elements such as glittering lips, a single eye and eyebrow.
