Ryan Hall says win over BJ Penn is ‘bittersweet’ | UFC 232 | ESPN MMA

UFC lightweight Ryan Hall reacts to giving BJ Penn his first submission loss of his career, saying the win is “bittersweet” for him because he was happy with his performance, but knows what it is like on the losing side. Hall hopes his performance vs. Penn will get him better recognition in the UFC. Hall praises Penn’s career and hopes he continues fighting and says even if BJ calls it quits, he hope he will stay to coach and train. Hall expresses his desire to possibly train with him in the future. Hall says he has no interest in calling out a fighter for his next bout.
