Charlie Hunnam is a gifted film performer who rose to prominence thanks to such well-known movies as Cold Mountain, Children of Men, etc.
He was born in spring of 1980 in Newcastle. He first appeared on a big screen in a TV novella called Queer as Folk. After that he featured in Whatever Happened to Harold Smith that brought him recognition. That’s why he moved to LA and soon enough appeared in such TV projects as Crimson Peak, The Ledge and others.

The father William used to work as a junk seller. However, according to some other sources, he was a gangster. William didn’t take any part in his son's upbringing as he left the family when a future star turned only 2. Within some time, he remarried a woman Sylvia and had been with her for 27 years up until his death in 2013, aged 61, from cancer.

The mother’s name is Jane and she is a former ballet dancer. In addition to that, she ran her own business. After the divorce with William, she also remarried and gave birth to two more kids. The actor is very proud of his mother and shares a tight bond with her.

The movie star has an older brother named William, who was welcomed in 1977. It is only known that he resides in London and is a director at Jesmond Capital.

From Jane’s second marriage, there are two maternal half-brothers: Christian and Oliver. Unfortunately, we failed to find any information about them.

Coming closer to Hunnam’s personal life, he had been married only once to an actress Katharine Towne from 1999 till 2002. The couple met at one of an audition and three weeks later, they got hitched. However, this marriage lasted only three years and didn’t result in kids.

Since 2005 and up till present moment, the actor has been in a long-term relationship with Morgana McNelis, who is a fashion designer of clothes and jewelry. The two love birds live in California, on a ranch, where they have donkeys and chickens. Also, both of them are into organic farming. Morgana is very supportive of Hunnam’s career.

The celebrity doesn’t have any children as yet.
