The island of Vrgada is a beautiful island opposite Pakostane. In fact, Vrgada, Pakostane, Drage and Vrana together form the municipality of Pakostane. Vrgada is a hilly island with picturesque bays with beautiful beaches. Certainly the most famous beach is Podbrizi. Besides it, there are beaches: Przina, Kranje, and Dražica I, II and III.
Vrgada is an island where there is no classic traffic, but the basic means of transport are: carioles (points), a milling machine and a small delivery vehicle. The streets in the place are very narrow and steep. There are several shops and caffes in the place. On the beach Podbrizi there is Hakuna Matata beach bar, and on the Przina beach there is Przina beach bar. Dense pine forest, clear sea and accessible beaches are the main features of the only permanently inhabited island of the Pakostane Riviera. Vrgada is an ideal place for tourists looking for relaxation and peace.
The Ship Vrgada runs to the island of Vrgada several times a day. During the season, many tourists come for a swim in this way, primarily to the beach Podbrizi. There are many yachtsmen who anchor near the beaches and swim in the crystal clear sea.
On the island there is a parish church of the Holy Trinity with a view of Pakostane, Drage and Biograd na Moru. Church of St. Andrije is located in the cemetery in Przina Bay.
