This Teen Boxing Champion Is Fighting For Missing And Murdered Indigenous Women

12-year-old Ayanna O’Kimosh has been fighting for nearly three years and has won multiple national championship titles. She lives in the tribal lands of the Menominee Indian Reservation in northern Wisconsin, where she is training for her next national championship fight. But her boxing isn’t just about winning belts and titles, she also uses her platform to raise awareness for missing and murdered Indigenous women across the U.S.

She hopes her boxing success can shine a light on the issue and help fight for a better future for Indigenous women across the country.
