C220 1996 Idle issues (W202) part 1

MB C220 engine idling issues (W202). Suspecting throttle body.

When I gently pressed on the accelerator the RPMs started going up and down btw/ approx 700 and 1200 RPM. When I removed my foot from the accelerator, the engine went back to normal idle at around 600 RPM (the RPMs did not oscillate up and down). I was able to recreate the problem in park position (with AC on or off).
When I finally pressed harder on the accelerator (while in park), the RPMs went up to 3000-4000 range and when I depressed the accelerator, the engine idle went back to normal and I could no longer reproduce the RPM up/down oscillating problem.

I run into the above issue somewhat randomly, sometimes it could be a week prior to next occurrence.
