TechPro track in SHS curriculum, explained | ABS-CBN News

The Committee on Basic Education and Culture of the House of Representatives discussed the upcoming reforms in the implementation of the Senior High School (SHS) Program.

Following a directive from President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., the Department of Education is currently recalibrating the pilot implementation of the strengthened SHS Program.

According to the Department of Education, the SHS program will focus on two tracks: Academic and TechPro.

Director IV Peter Mark Magsalin explained that DepEd, in collaboration with Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), has initiated the alignment of the strengthened SHS TechPro track to address current and future industry demands.
