You as a Cancer Midheaven then can see the importance of putting love above all else. You as a Cancer Midheaven never really got that affectionate adoration from your parents like the other children got, so you go out into the world, wanting to be loved by people and wanting to love them in return. Wanting affection and wanting to show affection. You feel you are the one that has to take on the responsibility of bringing more love and comfort to the world.

As the midheaven indicates also your personal capabilities, with a Cancer Midheaven you are able to meet people and instantly make them feel like family. I know a Cancer Midheaven who is a natural at cooking and she hosts Christmas parties like a professional. Decorations, food, atmosphere, themes, everything is totally top notch. That’s the Cancer Midheaven. You also have the ability to really channel your deepest emotions and feelings into anything you create in the world. When people see your work, whether it’s a dish you created, a painting, a home you designed, they see that it has come from a place deep inside of you.

And she’s an architect/ designer, so we can see that 5th house creative potentials come out in a Cancer way- which is designing houses. But, if we are looking only at the Cancer midheaven to indicate a vocation, I can't really give you a concrete answer, but rather a working environment that suits you.

With a Cancer Midheaven, you would really do well in a working environment that is not too challenging or too competitive. You can do well being a manager, being self-employed or starting your own business. The sign of Cancer is a cardinal sign which means it is a self-starter (like Aries, Capricorn and Libra). You need an environment where you can either 1. Help other people, children, old people or animals and just take that caring side out of you or 2. Use your creativity…. or maybe both. And ofcourse, be loved by those you work with, and use your skills to care for others.

This is going to sound quite morbid, but, this is the ultimate representation of the Midheaven, so....on your death bed, with a Cancer midheaven, what you need to feel completely fulfilled on your deathbed is to feel that you have physically helped people to live a more comfortable lifestyle where they feel they have been fully taken care of and nurtured by you.
