These protests turned riots were because of the police killing of George Floyd
In this video you’ll see Denver Police Officers and Swat and Denver County Sheriff deputies in riot gear during the day and night of May 29th 2020.
The chaotic scenes you’ll see in the video started off as a “peaceful protest” during the day and turned violent after sundown.
You’ll also see pictures I took of the chaos. There was tear gas and smoke from fires. But most of the smoke you’ll see is tear gas, and that stuff burns. The air was filled with tear gas and the wind shifted a couple times and the people I was with near the command post got a couple good waves of it. .
NOTE: You’ll also see some responses from Denver Fire Department. That is because DPD was responding in the video as well.
