In this video, I break down one of the biggest differences between casual players and NBA 2K League–level comp players — how we read the pick and roll.

Casual players hit the slip 10 out of 10 times, no matter what. If the big is open rolling, they throw it instantly.

But comp guards think differently.
A 2K League guard will hit the slip 6–7 times, but the other 3–4 times, they’re baiting the defense… waiting for the help to collapse… and THEN throwing the three-ball to the wing or hash.

Because in comp basketball:
3 over 2 — always.
