Civil rights advocates and attorneys including Ben Crump, Angela Rye and Monique Pressley will hold a press conference in support of former Baltimore City state attorney Marilyn Mosby ahead of her sentencing in U.S. District Court. Mosby, who was Baltimore’s lead prosecutor from 2015 until last year, could face up to 40 years in prison following a wrongful conviction on perjury and mortgage fraud charges over the use of her own retirement funds.
