Soulful Bhajan, a devotional Carnatic Hindustani Fusion of Darbari Kanada and Adana. In a seamless coming together of two moving Bhajans, Narayana Teertha’s Govardhana Giridhara and Sant Brahmanand’s Do Ab Daras composed by Pandit Srinivas Joshi, this piece blends the poignancy of devotion expressed through Indian Classical Music. The two similar ragas fuse to convey the passionate plea of a devotee longing for a ‘darshan’ of his beloved God Krishna. Advaith Roy (Hindustani Vocals & Harmonium), Manikandan S (Carnatic Vocals), Anirudh Sharma (Tabla), Sarvesh Karthick (Mridangam), Niveditha Arun (Veena), and Poornima Emani (Flute) perform this beautifully intense devotional song.

A high energy vocal start to the piece leads to the entry of the percussionists. The two vocalists smoothly move from one raga to the other throughout, with an instrumental interlude in between. Towards the end the singers merge the two classical styles of music before building a crescendo with fast paced Swarams to reach the end.
