NASA releases video of Perseverance rover’s Mars landing

NASA has revealed remarkable video captured by the Perseverance rover as it touched down on Mars.

The footage shows the rover recording itself landing - the first time the manoeuvre has been seen.

Included in the release was the first audio recorded on the surface of Mars.
