doing some readings and sharing my boba with you..🍵 if you're watching this while i'm posting, it's december, so the cafe is playing christmas tunes. hope it helps! it calms me a lot. 💕

only one more midterm until christmas break! woop! this semester has flown by, as per usual. how are you doing?

this year i'm not in such a good mental space as i would like to be at this time of the year. i've been trying to fight it but it's been going on for quite a while now if you've been reading my captions and i've let it transpire to some vlogs, so i might as well start to accept it. the more i put it off in my mind the more i enjoy myself throughout the day but i find myself wondering what's going on when i can't sleep at night and am filled with all this anxiety. just writing it makes me feel silly because it's a very simple & normal problem that tons of students struggle too.

i like to feel surrounded by people and warmth, and i try to focus on that. i believe i'll find a way out even if it takes a while! there's always something to look forward in the future so i'll focus on that!

for example in this study with me, i was sooo happy just studying and catching some sunlight. my anxiety was melting away with each sunbeam hitting my skin. it's these simple moments that i enjoy most in college life! not so much the achievements and success, we all want those, but do they really matter? it's these moments where i can find some calm while learning that make me glad i'm on this path. and right now in the present, not in an uncertain future.
lots of friends ask me how do i enjoy studying... but it's so nice to focus my mind on a simple topic and know that i'll be thinking about that those hours! same thing with going to the gym. i don't know how i could not enjoy it.

anyways, cheers to a cozy weekend. i'll be staying mostly in. enjoy some tea with me 💞
