35mm FILM PHOTOGRAPHY - NIKON F90X - CLASSIC CARS
I went to a car show with my Nikon f90x and a roll of FP4.
The conditions were tricky with blazing bright sun and lots of chrome and reflections. A polorazing filter helped a bit.
I had 36 shots to take and I decided to keep things simple by taking photographs of just headlights. By giving myself a little plan I didn't waste time wondering what to shoot.
Tricky part was the darkroom session. Because of the bright chrome blown out areas (Should have spotted instead of evaluated) I used the "Flashing Technique" to tone the bright white areas down a bit.
Don't take my method of pre flashing paper as the correct way. It's just how I do it and get results. There is much information online about pre flashing.
Above all I enjoyed the shoot and the darkroom session and happy with my prints... for now.
