Knife making How to make a Hunting Knife 7" blade tooled snake skin leather sheath scrimshaw handle

A 7 inch hunting knife with leather sheath was made in this video, The knife's blade was made from 1/4 inch thick 440C stainless steel. The handle was made from two materials: snakewood, and corian. The primary bevel and sharpening were done freehand using the electronic bevel jig (SmartJig). The blade was hardened and tempered twice. A knight helmet drawing was scrimshawed into the corian part of the handle. The sheath was made from 8-9oz veg tan leather. The top of the sheath was tooled to simulate snake skin.
