New York Dad Gives Free Surf Lessons To Underserved Kids In Queens

The Black Surfing Association, East Coast Chapter is a New York-based organization providing free surf lessons and equipment to underserved kids in the Stowaway Beach community of Queens. Founder Lou Harris shares how he gets donations from major companies, and even Jonah Hill, to help kids in his community gain access to the therapeutic experience of surfing. Lou also dishes on giving back in his community in other ways, including providing free meals and handing out presents during the holidays.
