I Restored a 1950's War Machine using LeBlonde Lathe, Bridgeport Mill, Miller TIG

Join me as we bring this 1953 Monarch industrial lathe back to life! These ancient wartime machines are made in the USA and built to last! Unfortunately due to their age we find ourselves having to custom make parts and repair the machines ourselves. In this video we remove the ships wheel that drives the longitudinal feed and attempt to repair the cast aluminum where the bus driver style knob is press fit in. The cast aluminum is incredibly tricky to weld but with our Miller TIG welder we make due. I also show some detailed info on how to run a LeBlonde Regal Metal Lathe, Bridgeport Knee Mill and a few tips and tricks for DIY machinists.
