Day three of eight weeks out from carrying a 50kg beam 5km up Pendle Hill on Father's Day

Day three of eight weeks out from carrying a 50kg beam 5km up Pendle Hill on Father's Day.

I am 6 foot 2, 17 stone, and three days ago my cardio base was basically zero. That is changing.

The plan is simple. One big shake every morning, sipped through the day. One meal in the evening ... steak and eight eggs. That is it.

Here is what goes into the shake and what it actually does:

150g of Critical Mass ... 566 calories, 42g of protein. The anchor of the whole thing.

120g of oats ... 450 calories, slow release carbohydrates that keep energy steady through a full day of training and work.

9 heaped teaspoons of peanut butter .. 530 calories, healthy fats and 21g of protein that keep you full and support testosterone through hard training.

80g of blueberries ..antioxidants that reduce inflammation and help a body training six days a week actually recover.

400ml of raw whole milk ... 252 calories, 13g of protein, doing real work.

Shake total: 1,843 calories and 91g of protein.

Steak and eight eggs in the evening adds another 1,160 calories and 118g of protein.

Daily total: 3,003 calories and 210g of protein. Enough fuel to build muscle, lose fat, and get up that hill on Father's Day carrying 50 kilograms.

Eight weeks. The work has started.
