【4K】日本 HIROSHIMA CITY - HIROSHIMA - Japan 2020 Guide

Today let's walk around the beautiful city of Hiroshima where we explore the downtown Hiroshima, shops, arcades, and see how the city lives today after its tragic Atomic Bomb history 75 years ago.

00:00- INTRO to Hiroshima City.

01:08- The NHK (Nippon Hoso Kyokai) building which is the Japan Broadcasting Corporation. Right below it, there is a nice and spacious Starbucks. Starbi or Starbuckses are VERY popular in Japan!

02:03- The Hiroshima Hondori Street located right in the Chugoku and the Shikoku area. This is the biggest shopping street in the downtown Hiroshima! Here you can find arcade shops, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing stores, and even electronics stores. In fact, there are about 200 different stores in this 577-meter stretch. This is just under 1900 feet in length.

04:14- This is the Crepe Food Truck called the Calulu Trucks. It moves around from place to place.

04:25- On the menu the Crepe Food Truck got a variety of sweet crepes. Unfortunately for me they did not have any savory ones. But that’s OK – there are hundreds of places to eat in the area.

04:36- In front on the right is the famous Choco Cro Café which stands for the Chocolate and Croissant! It is the St. Marc Café where they make my favorite chocolate croissants!

05:34- Exiting the Hondori Shopping Arcade, the city of Hiroshima looks like any other big city in Japan. It’s vibrant with life, culture, and like any big city – heavy traffic. It’s incredible to think that just 75 years ago in 1945, the whole city was obliterated by the Atomic bomb.

06:35- Back to the Intergate Hotel which is centrally located in the Naka Ward.
