Painting a Miniature Ship: Imperial Modellbau 1:600 Xebec-Frigate
This miniature ship model belongs to the Napoleonic wars era, so I have painted it with a simple scheme, as the figure is sculpted; in earlier times it could be much more decorated.
I added sails to the bare masts, and took advantage of the size according to the scale (it would be more than 50 meters long) to convert it into something quite usual at the time; a xebec-frigate or polacca, adding a mast for square sails.
