On The Truth About People - 30 Days of Humanity: Day 6 - Quick Thought #599

If you read literature about social issues, you'll see a common element:

Negativity.

There are huge problems. We are mere humans. We can't possibly ever solve them. The problems are too big. We are destructive, evil beings, hellbent on destroying everything in our wake.

Well. This has not been my experience. I simply zoom in to my life. I see a wonderful family, incredibly supportive friends, mentors, and teachers who have contributed so much to make my life better.

And then I read about how everything is going to shit.

Where's the disconnect, here? I refuse to believe that everything is falling apart in the face of so much Love.
