Managers,
If you see some stand-out goodness coming from one of your team members, I can guarantee you, you'll stand out in a good way if you take the time to write a hand written note to say that you've noticed their work.
I've seen notes as old as 10 years displayed in people's work area because the action is so rare. It doesn't have to be rare, but it seems to be. Don't make this the case where you lead.
