The Good, The Bad & The Autistic! An Analysis on Autism in Movies & TV

As someone with Asperger syndrome, I was excited about the release of Atypical mainly because it had an autistic main character. And even though most of the feedback said it was stereotypical and cliched, I still gave it a chance because every autistic person is different... Long story short, it took 2 weeks to watch all 8 half-hour episodes!

Despite Atypical being as stereotypical as it gets & full of flaws I could fill an entire rant video with, I decided to make this video to also analyze autistic characters in movies and tv shows that I liked, & why I liked them. And most importantly, to discuss things that I'd like to see in a work of fiction that portrays people on the spectrum.
