There are so many free things to spot on your London trip. Here are just some of my favourites.
1. Sky pool, Nine Elms, SW11 7AY
This looks so cool in the sunshine. You can only look - it’s not open to the public for swimming.
2. Thin House, South Kensington, SW7 2TA
People actually live here and it’s so cool to see it in real life. Tie in with trip to the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and V&A as you only need to look at it for a few mins.
3. Escalator at the Natural History Museum, SW7 5BD
This escalator leads to an earthquake experience. Check out my previous reel about 7 things to do at the Natural History Museum for more details.
4. Telephone Box Sculpture, Kingston, KT2 6QF
A bit further out but makes a cool photo if you’re in the area. It’s a permanent art installation called Out of Order by artist David Mach.
5. Mosaic House, Chiswick, W4 5EL
This looks so pretty in the sunshine. It took 20 years to complete. People live here so you can’t go inside.
6. Leake Street Arches, Waterloo, SE1 7NN
Eight former railway arches beneath Waterloo station, adjoining London’s longest legal graffiti wall, have been brought back to life as independent restaurants, bars and entertainment spaces.
7. Gods Own Junkyard, Walthamstow, E17 9HQ
So cool for photos. There’s a cafe there too.
