Autumn is Kyoto's main tourist season, where everyone comes to visit to witness the red and golden colours of the trees. Some get dressed up in traditional Japanese clothing, others prefer to walk around taking pictures and selfies of the scenery. I decided to go on a temple and shrine visit both in the daytime and night. I've finally been able to visit Kyoto in all 4 seasons and the autumn/fall season is the one that's extra special.
