GREEK FERRIES | Santorini to Crete with Seajets

Getting around Greece is best done by Ferry. But how are they?
There are many options from large ferries to smaller fast jets, the latter being the most expensive option. There's also many companies... some notoriously late, some relatively timely. But which to choose?
We travelled with a number of companies and had pretty good experiences overall, other than on the Fast Cat ferries which were pretty bumpy and always so late!
From Santorini to Crete, Katie and I took a Seajets ferry and it was both ON TIME and pretty comfortable! We have to say we had a great experience on a boat that is usually not good! This ferry allows you to also go Crete to Santorini in the early AM, if you wanted to visit just as a day trip, but we think there are so many things to do in Santorini that you need more time!!
