HUGE ROMAN BATH Minecraft Timelapse - Ancient Baths of Diocletian

This video is the culmination of many months of building and refining. The timelapse shows the building of the Baths of Diocletian, (Thermae Diocletian), which was built by Emperor Diocletian between 298 and 306 AD. The complex is the largest Roman bath in the entire world. Of which much remains and can still be seen today.

The huge bath complex was built on top of a large sanctuary dedicated to Gens Flavia, the Flavian dynasty. Recent archeological excavations prove, that the bath complex demolished this sanctuary, except the large Temple of Gens Flavia, which we've included in this build.

This video was made using Replaymod and Worldedit.

Sadly Replaymod caused a lot of rendering problems, which is why you can see some errors in the timelapse sequence. For this I apologize.

The build is part of the Roma Antiqua 320 AD project, which aims to reconstruct the eternal city in Minecraft, as accurately and aesthetically as possible.
