**EDIT: Polychromo flesh tones have now changed names, I have adjusted the colours in the list below so you can find the correct new alternative. Light Flesh is now Beige Red, Medium Flesh is now Coral and Dark Flesh is now Salmon**

Drawing skin tones can be really tricky if you are new to colored pencil portraits. In this tutorial I show you How to draw skin tones - Faber Castell Polychromos, Light to Black. I list all the pencils (also see below) and the basics of how to layer them .

Light Tones:
Ivory
Light Flesh - NOW: BEIGE RED
Cinnamon
Light Red Violet or Light Ultramarine
Caput Mortum
Walnut Brown

Medium Tone:
Light Flesh - NOW: BEIGE RED
Cinnamon
Medium Flesh - NOW: CORAL
Light Red Violet or Light Ultramarine
Van Dyke Brown

Olive Tone:
Light Tones
Ivory
Light Flesh - NOW: BEIGE RED
Cinnamon

Warm Grey III

Tanned Tone:
