Congo Class / Extra-galactic Journey

This is the Congo class Extra-galactic explorer. My model is a bit old so I might have to make another one with more detail. Ive actually made several other large Extra-Galactic vessels of my own design. I plan on making a few vids of them in the future. Ive always loved the Congo class so I wanted to actually put her "on screen" for everyone. So this is pretty much just a quick extra-galactic warpjump. I used real NASA images this time because I was too lazy to make the galaxies from scratch with particles lol. The first scene has the Milkyways galactic band behind her along with the Andromeda Galaxy in front of her. But at the end, the galaxy behind her when she drops out of warp...I forget what galaxy I used for that.

I agree with Doug Drexler that vessels at this point would have technology so far advanced it would be hard to really fathom now. So I created a warp jump a bit different. I wanted to create a more advanced warp jump. I planned on giving her a coaxial warp jump but I might do that in the next video of her. For now, I just tried to create something a bit different and more advanced. I did a slight mix of a Trek FTL jump with the FTL jump from Dark Matter (which by the way if someone knows how to do the Dark Matter FTL effect PLEASE tell me, lol, Id love to learn how to do that "3D print" warp effect!) I also combined the sounds of a Trek jump along with the Razas FTL sound. And I also threw in a bit of lightning on the nacelles as she spools up for the jump.

Also, if you guys can see it, I actually animated the fractals on the Bussards, warp nacelles, deflector, and impulse engines. I wanted this vessel to really look advanced.

Originally I was going to have her go to the Andromeda Galaxy, then I had an idea to recreate the scene from TNG "Where no man has gone before" and have her end up on the far side of the Triangulum Galaxy. But after I looked up the possibility of star systems in extra-galactic space, I just placed a desert planet and 2 habitable worlds with lights on them (I wanted it to show colonies are on those worlds.)
