And in this video, I showed the easiest way to imitate gold from polymer clay, using a special gold pigment (mica powder). This pigment is easy to buy along with polymer clay.
To sculpt these jewelry set, I used gold and green polymer clay, as well as gold pigments (mika powder) of two colors: red and yellow gold. I also used jewelry findings and Swarovski crystals. Vintage style jewelry is popular in the USA.
I have never seen such a technique for combining a simplified "wire wrap" and polymer clay. The wire wrap technique has been simplified by me with floral tape, it is much easier than soldering and easier than connecting with a wire.I've wanted to do something like this for a long time. I reviewed everything, there are several small works, but not at all like mine. I am very surprised that no one else does this. If you saw something like this, share with me. For the headbands on the head, it is more practical to use baked clay, it is durable, does not deteriorate from water. And also, this clay comes with different effects: pearl, metal, semi-precious stone, which is what I need!
Attention to cover with gold leaf on raw clay, you can only baked clay, other types of clay decrease as they dry!
