Massachusetts House passes social media ban for kids | Morning in America

Lawmakers in the Massachusetts House passed a bill that would bar children under 14 from having social media accounts, putting the state on track for one of the toughest youth social media crackdowns in the country. The proposal now heads to the state Senate, which has yet to vote on the measure. The progressive advocacy group Act On Mass cautioned against the bill, arguing that requiring age verification could raise privacy concerns for users.
