A dedicated workspace is essential when you're moving from hobby to business. From productivity and health and safety, to simply being able to close the door on 'work', a separate space can be a gamechanger.

Liz Moody, Senior Lecturer in Work-based Learning, explains some of the things you may want to think about. Liz was an academic consultant for the new OU/BBC series 'I Made It at Market', featuring craft makers who have turned their passions into profit.
