Exporting PNG files from illustrator #illustratortips #illustratortutorial

Hey design enthusiasts! 🌟 If you're working with Adobe Illustrator and you're planning to export your designs as PNG files for DTF (Direct to Film) transfers, it’s super important to get this part right to maintain the quality and integrity of your artwork. One common hiccup that many run into is accidentally introducing semi-transparent pixels. These sneaky little guys can lower the overall quality of your transfers and lead to unwanted results.

To avoid this, here’s a quick guide! First, ensure your artwork is fully vector-based and any elements that need to be solid are set to 100% opacity. When you’re ready to export, go to **File - Export - Export As** and choose PNG. In the export settings, make sure to select the **“Use Artboards”** option if you're working within defined boundaries—it helps in getting a clean edge. Crucially, you should also select a resolution of at least 300 DPI for crisp prints, and set the background to “Transparent.” This way, you won’t get any unwanted semi-transparent pixels lurking around in your design.

By paying attention to these details, you’ll preserve the vibrant colors and sharp edges that make your designs pop!

Happy designing! 🌈 #IllustratorTips #PNGExport #DTFTransfers
